My say.....

My old battered Dell notebook that has seen better days. However, it is still not poised for retirement yet. I do splurge but I count my lucky stars I'm not particular about notebooks and handphones. I guess that's the redeeming factor why I'm still not bankrupt till this day....

Totally in love with LV bags. I know, the classic monogram design has been accused of being overly 'auntie.' But now that auntie is more than my middle name, at my age, it's practically my first name.... aren't we made for each other?

Olympus Pen E-PL1

Canon 500D
2 of my favorite cameras that redeem my self-worth in photography by unfailingly producing stunning pictures everytime. The Olympus is the icing on the cake as I won it in a photography contest.

 'The substitute'

3 weeks.

Almost 3 weeks since my darling poodle left me. I cried, I fret and worst of all, I did the unthinkable.... I took home a 6 weeks' old puppy.

This is not exactly the smartest thing to do, but, that's the only way I know dealing with the loss of my dog.

It's a replacement of sort.

Another mistake I guess. Quite simply my previous dog is irreplaceable. I know this is not fair to the pup, having to live up to its predecessor. Honestly, it has gigantic shoes to fill.

Not fair, right?

What can I say? People are selfish. I am the first to admit. But I do sincerely hope new pup and I can start a new relationship. I'm working hard at it. Still, I can't help comparing them. I don't want to, but the thought kept cropping up here and there like a pimple that refuse to subside.

Guess like the bad pimple, memory of my dead poodle is bound to erupt years to come. Just hope it's not as often.

The recent Ramadan cum sensitivity crash-course 101 ad has been getting flak from alot of people. The video which was initially uploaded to Youtube was taken down promptly. But there's one here still surviving as part of a news report.

A lot of people called the ad racist in nature because a Chinese girl was depicted being 'insensitive' to the Muslims during the fasting month. I watched the ad and I shudder in disbelief. Not because it's racist, it's because the ad was so crude, it made me cringe in absolute distaste. NO Shit, it was REALLY that bad.

Goldie with John

My Goldie passed away last Friday. He was 7. Just 7. In this short 7 years, we were pratically inseparable. He was with me everywhere, he would lie beside me when I work at the computer, sit beside me when I laze on the sofa  and keep me company when I go to bed.

Bags - Bags

I've been hard at work these past few months. Some little moolah has been rolling in and that is the time I get itchy.  Usual sad story. Just when my account is looking better, I started to twitch and glitch and my brain start telling me I need a GOOD everyday bag.

Personal - Thoughts
Monday, 13 June 2011 11:33

Been super busy for the past 2 months. Work has been coming in fast and furious with crazy datelines. A new project is coming up and I really don't know if I can handle. I tell myself at least I work from home and can catch my sleep in between the craziness anytime. I don't have to waste my time dolling up to look half decent. Now I go into work frenzy in my pyjamas and looking like shit. Hmm, such liberation.

OK, a little update
